Reading books! She has always loved flipping through them, but now she will pick up a book, come sit in your lap and you get to read to her. We do this for literally hours a day. I love it too!

The Canopy
This is why we bought our house, I love these trees! We don't have to go far for a good picnic.
I guess it wont be long before Emma is climbing them, but for now, we enjoy the blanket together.

I can tell a difference...
The pictures do not do it justice, and perhaps I can only tell the difference because of the pain in my back, but here we have the updated look for the front of the house. We took out the bushes hiding the walkway, took out the crazy tree and made a new bed with fun plants and flowers. We got to use the truck for sure - 1.5 ton load of stone, a bed load of dirt, many squares of sod, and plenty of plants. Well on our way to getting this place looking better. Next project - I bought paint for the bathroom today. Goodbye fish wallpaper!

Fun Dinner times.
Tonight was so much fun. Emma practiced eating with her spoon, which was amusing but pretty impressive. She just looks so grown up.
We had some fun times and just laughed pretty hard. Here is a little video of dinner at the Waller house.
