Plants and Flowers!

We went to work!  Matt had Monday off and so we took advantage.  It was so fun to work ALL day in the yard.  We added some plants to a much needed empty flower bed and then made some new additions to the backyard.  It looks so good and we are really excited about it.  Some plants were given to us by our neighbors and then we used the mulch from our compost we have been making, so fun!  Now all we have to do is water them and keep them alive in this summer heat.  Here are some fun pictures:

This bed was totally empty when we started (besides the bush in the middle, it got to stay).

We added this in the back, its our butterfly garden.

We made this bed around the tree, thanks Matt and Susan for the plants!
